Reimagining
Kashmir

To catalyze and accelerate social and economic transformation in border villages of Kashmir, Project Jazba enables proximate leaders to establish impactful social enterprises to serve their communities. By 2025, we aim to nurture 200+ entrepreneurs in Kupwara and Bandipora districts and increase female-led enterprises through tailored incubation support, providing seed capital, training, mentorship, and linkages, while piloting, scaling or, replicating contextualised models of change.
Our Mission

Project Jazba is an initiative by TYCIA Foundation, a social justice-driven organization established in 2011. TYCIA (Turn Your Concern Into Action) Foundation has experience working in communities in conflict with law and state, particularly in Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Uttarakhand. The foundation focuses on education, entrepreneurship, prison reform and proximate leadership development, with a team of 50+ members and an extended network of volunteers and fellows.
Who are we?

We envision a world where individuals in conflict-affected and geographically constrained regions possess the power to create opportunities for themselves and others. Believing that the most effective solutions emerge from those closest to the problems, we aim to function as a pioneer social incubator and accelerator, empowering proximate leaders to spearhead transformative initiatives to recreate the narratives around & within their communities.
